Ask an Evaluator

Ask an Evaluator YEAR

Led by a passionate teacher, Ask an Evaluator seeks to create a space where curiosities, dilemmas and knotty questions can be explored and resolved for participants. I am inspired to do this because I did not know about evaluation as a profession until 2 years post-doctoral studies. I want to create a space of possibilities but also share my joy in getting to work as an evaluator everyday. You do not need to be an evaluator to participate in Ask an Evaluator. Do you have a “how do I….” question? You are our target audience!

The purpose of Ask An Evaluator is:

a. To build awareness about evaluation as a profession.
b. Provide space to curate ideas for the practice of sound evaluation.

Who can participate in Ask an Evaluator?

  • Community organizations without an evaluator who have questions.
  • Evaluators who want to commune with and/or inspire others to evaluation.
  • Members of the public with questions about the value of putting dollars to evaluation.
  • Organizational leaders who want to ingrain intentional evaluation into their practice.
  • Senior level high school, tertiary and university students exploring career paths.
  • Workers in non-profit organizations with evaluation duties who are not evaluators.
