I am a fourth year International Relations student at the University of Calgary with a focus on development and economics. In school, I specifically study international aid and economies of the Global South, in hopes of utilizing these skills for a future career in international development. My professional goal is to work for Global Affairs Canada in the international assistance sector, turning my passion for development into a career and contributing to the global well-being on an international stage. I joined YEARS to learn more about the process and real-life application of development projects and put my studies into practice. I am excited to work with a team of like-minded peers in a collaborative learning environment who share the same passions and motivations. Outside of my studies, I play competitive ultimate frisbee with the University of Calgary and a local Calgary team!
