Work experience
I’m a 4th year student at the University of Calgary, pursuing a triple major in Global Development Studies, International Indigenous Studies, and Communication and Media Studies. During my study abroad in France, I earned a Certificate in Social Sciences and Humanities from Sciences Po. As a Métis learner, I try to approach my learning using a two-eyed seeing perspective, drawing from both Western and Indigenous knowledge systems. After completing my studies, I plan to pursue a career in international relations and development, eventually moving into Canadian politics with a focus on advancing Indigenous and women’s rights. I am hoping to gain insights into my future field while contributing to ongoing work at YEARS. Outside of academics, you can usually find me at the archery range, in the dance studio, or reading a new fantasy book.
